HOW DID WE GET HERE?

In March of 2020, I moved away from the city life and my successful career to the unknown life of buying land to become truly self-sufficient.  

​I would have never guessed that the relocation would happen at the same time of a worldwide pandemic and change the world as we all have known forever. 

Yet it transformed life into the joyous opportunity to build and create the life that has inspired many lives to dream big and to be of service to others.

WHAT ARE WE DOING NOW?​​

​With each season, brings the creation of new projects and tasks to tend to whether it be building another greenhouse or raising meat birds for the first time.  

The motto at Freedom Ranch Homestead is that we "GET TO" rather than " HAVE TO."  We are all the creators of our own lives so we don't waste time thinking about what are limitations are or what we want to do, instead we make it happen with community and the knowledge we learn.

​Where there is a will, there is a way and we strive to inspire others that they too can take the leap and live off the land. 

WHAT IS NEXT FOR US?

​As our community grows and our need for more organic, local produce and goods increases; we will be expanding our outreach through means of a mobile farm stand, GiddyUp.  We are now selling produce and other local products grown or created with integrity in Northeastern Arizona by local homesteaders.

GiddyUp went through a massive transformation from the ugly duckling yard truck to a mobile farm stand offering produce from homesteads and local gardens in the White Mountains and other hand-crafted, local goods.   

We are currently hosting one workshop per month to learn the skills necessary to run a successful homestead.
